The Cadillac Celestiq, an upcoming luxury electric vehicle (EV), has been spotted testing with its deployable rear spoiler in action. Despite its rough appearance in the spy shots, Cadillac is continuing to fine-tune the vehicle ahead of its production start in December.
The Celestiq, which was revealed last year, is set to be Cadillac’s flagship EV. It is projected to have an output of 600 horsepower and an estimated range of 300 miles from its 111-kilowatt-hour battery. The starting price for the Celestiq has been revealed to be $340,000, and customers will have the option to customize various aspects of the vehicle, including materials and design elements.

Cadillac plans to hand-build the Celestiq at General Motors’ Global Technical Center in Michigan. This marks the first time the facility has been used for vehicle production since its opening in 1956. The company has received strong demand for the Celestiq, and while it has sold 18 months’ worth of production, it plans to limit production to 500 units per year.
The Celestiq is positioned to compete with other high-end luxury brands like Bentley and Rolls-Royce, offering a combination of advanced technology, luxury features, and bespoke customization options.
