California-based electric vehicle manufacturer Lucid Motors has issued three separate recalls for its Lucid Air electric sedans, affecting a total of 6,360 vehicles. These recalls were issued on July 27, 2023, and impact certain 2022 to 2023 Lucid Air models.
The largest recall affects 5,523 Lucid Air sedans, with wiper arm nuts that may loosen. This could reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash. Lucid service centers will inspect and fix or replace the affected part at no cost to the owners.

The second recall affects 59 Lucid Air EVs with specific software versions. The rearview camera on these vehicles may fail to display when in reverse. Lucid has already released an over-the-air (OTA) software update to address this issue.
Lastly, 778 Lucid Air models with older software versions (2.0.64 and older) are being recalled due to potential power loss issues. An OTA update has been released to resolve this problem.
Lucid has provided contact information for affected owners to get more information and assistance regarding the recalls. In addition to these recalls, Lucid recently reduced prices on its Lucid Air EV sedan variants by up to $12,400 during a promotional event. The company is offering financing options for its vehicles as well.
