3T, the Italian Bike Specialist, Introduces the New Exploro RaceMax Boost X20

The trend of lightweight electric bicycles with a focus on sporty riding is growing, and high-end e-bike manufacturers are adopting systems that provide natural pedal assistance while keeping the weight down. An example of this trend is the 3T Exploro RaceMax Boost X20, an electric gravel bike from Italian bike specialist 3T.

The Exploro RaceMax Boost X20 is designed to offer an authentic riding experience in a lightweight package. It features the Mahle X20 rear hub motor, which provides 250 watts of power and 55 Newton-meters of torque. The battery, a Mahle IX250 with a capacity of 236 watt-hours, offers enough energy for rides and can be extended with an optional range-extender that fits in the bottle cage.

The bike’s design incorporates the battery neatly into the downtube, keeping wires and cables out of sight. It comes in a striking orange colorway with bold branding on the frame. The 3T Exploro RaceMax Boost X20 is an electric version of the acclaimed non-electric Exploro RaceMax Boost, known for its performance on both road and light off-road terrains.

While the performance and design are impressive, the price reflects the high-end nature of the bike. Prices for the 3T Exploro RaceMax Boost X20 start at $7,999, with multiple configurations available on the brand’s website. The limited edition version, named the 1961, pays homage to 3T’s founding year and is produced and assembled in Italy.
